school... again

so... summer's almost over. that's great. love that. fantastic. (all of that is a lie). we're not going back quite yet, but compared to a lot of others places, we go back really early (though we also get out fo the school comparitavely very early), so i'm already trying to brace myself for school coming back, and probably the busiest part of the my year.
If you know me in real life, you know that i'm a bit of the... academic... type i suppose. I take hard classes in school, and I generally do well in them, even when many others complain about how hard the class is (still holding onto my opinion that algebra II is a stupidely easy class. there's no way that I got a 103 in there and half of my honors class managed to fail it). Well, i'm kinda stuipid, and I ended up signing up for a lot of classes that are probably going to be very difficult. Under ordinary circumstances in my school, you aren't able to take any AP or DE classes until your junior year, and so of course i signed up for almost exclusively AP and DE classes for my junior year... On top of that I also signed up for a spanish 3 class that I probably will be lost in bc my spanish 2 was really just spanish 1 (I go to a pretty crappy school and things like that happen a lot..). AND, to make all of that even worse, I have marching band rehearsal every afternoon for the 3/4th of the first semester, which means that I have even less time to work on what will probably be a mountain of school work.
also, if you know me in real life, you'll also probably have wondered how i even get good grades, because I'm HORRIBLE about getting work done on time. (kinda funny story, i had a missing play i needed to write last year, which was taking my grade down a lot, and so i wrote and turned it in on my phone, literally during a school concert, which was also several days after all assignments were supposed to be turned in. i sat there frantically typing out a play on my phone while the middle school choir sang on stage, and managed to turn it in before i had go up and play myself lol. but i got a 100 on it, sooooo....). So with my having marching band, and also a lot of what are probably going to be very difficult classes in store for me, i'm really scared of how it's going to turn out for me this year.
I've always done well in the past though, and i surprise myself with it, so i'm hopeful i'm going to be fine. The spanish thing kinda worries me though, becuase I am probably severly underprepared for that class, but i suppose i'll just be honest with the teacher, and hope that they help me out and have mercy on me in the beginning, because i will really try to make up for it.
I didn't really have a point for making this, kinda just wanted to write out, and complain about, this whole chaotic situation I put myself in this year lol. also, i should probably add, i haven't updated this site in aaaages, and that kinda makes me sad. i like writing here! i like exploring the webs! I usually write on my school laptop though, and not having that over the summer, as well as getting constantly distracted by videogames (SPLATOON IS SO GOOD OMG) means i don't really write much here. I say this constantly, but hopefully you'll see more of me in the near future, but no promises :)
